HI, I’m Lou Gilmond, an author of mystery and thriller fiction, screenplays and travel books. I came to writing late in life having already suffered a long career which roughly went: shop girl, waitress, data processing clerk, telesales team leader, spreadsheet monkey, commodities trader, political lobbyist, publisher.
Lou GIlmond is my pen name. I write travel and gardening books, including the bestselling Bookshop Tours of Britain, under my given name, Louise Boland. I am also the founder of Fairlight Books, a small UK publishing house that specialises in publishing literary fiction.
My Kanha and Colbey thriller, Dirty Geese, Palisade and Divinity Games are bestselling political thrillers, or you could perhaps call them AI thrillers, which explore at the danger that AI can pose to our privacy and our democracy.
